About our Private, Commercial and IFR Ground School

Our ground schools are held right at the airport in our modern classrooms. During the breaks you can watch the airplanes go by while you sit on our outdoor patio, or enjoy our glassed-in lounge.

And of course you can sit and talk over the lecture with your fellow students as you nibble on a snack. It's a great way to meet your fellow student pilots, and grow the network of aviation friendships you will be enjoying for the rest of your life.

For you advanced and career students, it's your chance to team up and work together over those knotty commercial and IFR questions. And you never know who you might meet - a lot of our students have gotten to know Flight Instructors and other commercial pilots who later opened doors for them in their aviation careers.

Druxy's is open during the day for snacks and meals. You can get evening snacks and coffee at our vending machines down the hall just steps from your classroom.

Our Prop Shop stays open on nights when ground schools are starting so you can slip in before class to buy your books and supplies.

PARKING IS FREE. Park in the lot right outside our terminal.

Enrollment is quick and easy for any of our ground schools. You can even enroll online 24 hours a day. Just click on the ground school you're interested in (Private, Commercial or Instrument) for start dates and easy enrollment instructions through Dispatch.

P.S. You secure your ground school seat when you pay your tuition, so enroll early to get the start date of your choice.
