Who to contact in the Flight Training department:

Dispatch

Dispatch is our Flight Training “Front Desk”, your main reception and information area, and your daily check-in area when you are taking flight lessons.

Dispatch also acts as the airport “Front Desk” when required.

Your “Front Desk” is open to you seven days a week from 8am in the morning until at least 5pm and usually later. For specific evening closing hours please check in advance as closing hours change according to the season.

Most of our Dispatchers have pilot licences, and many are Flight Instructors. So they can help you with just about any aviation question you have.  If they don’t have your answer they can steer you in the right direction.

Directions to the airport

Markham Campus By Car We are conveniently located just off Hwy 404. Take the 16th Avenue exit. You will see the airport directly across from you when you come around to the traffic lights at the end of the ramp. Turn left (east) at the lights and immediately take the first driveway on your right (south side of 16th Avenue) into the airport. By Public Transit A York Region Transit (YRT) bus travels across 16th Avenue from Bathurst St. in the west to Ninth Line (Markham) in the east. It stops directly in front of the airport. Oshawa Campus By Car From Toronto take Highway 401 eastbound to Thickson Road. Go left northbound on Thickson Road to Taunton Road. Go right eastbound on Taunton Road to Airport Boulevard. Make a right southbound to the Terminal Building.
